Three months after breast surgery or a biopsy
Healing tissue is warm. Waiting three months means your images show your baseline, not the recovery.
Home · Prepare for your session
A little preparation makes a real difference to how readable your images are. Anything that changes the temperature of your skin, whether exercise, a hot shower, lotion or even a cold drink, can obscure the patterns we are trying to record.
Before you book
Two situations need a wait before imaging, so the images reflect your settled baseline rather than a temporary change.
Healing tissue is warm. Waiting three months means your images show your baseline, not the recovery.
Unless we are specifically looking at lactation, wait three months after you finish nursing.
Tell us about you
Bring these to your appointment, or fill them in here and print the sheet. Nothing here is required — it simply makes your intake conversation faster and your interpretation more useful.
This form is not submitted anywhere. It prints with the sheet so you can bring it with you.
Afterwards
Resume everything normally — there is nothing to recover from and no aftercare. You can shower, exercise and eat as usual as soon as you leave.
We will have looked at your images together before you go. Your written interpretation follows, along with a phone or Zoom consultation and a recommended timeframe for your next study.
If anything comes up between now and your appointment, whether an illness, an injury or a change of medication, call us. It may be worth moving your date so your images are worth having.
