What this website collects, what happens to it, and how to have it removed. Written in plain language, and kept short on purpose.

The short version
If you fill in the contact form, we receive what you typed so that we can reply to you. Nothing else on this site asks you for anything.
We count page views through Google Analytics so we know which parts of the site are useful. It is not used for advertising, and we do not sell anything to anybody.
The contact form
The form on the contact page asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, which study you are interested in, roughly where you are in the Keys, what time of day suits you, and anything you would like to tell us.
Along with that, our server records the internet address your message came from and the browser you used. Those two are kept to block automated spam and for no other purpose.
What you send arrives as an email to the practice and is saved in our database so that nothing gets lost between your writing and our replying. It is not shared with anyone else, and it is not used to market anything to you.
The message box is free text, so please use your judgement. If you would rather discuss something health-related by phone than type it into a web form, call (305) 797-7603 and we will talk it through instead.
Your study
Your intake paperwork, your images and your written interpretation are health information. They are not collected by this website and they do not live on it.
They are handled by the practice directly, stored securely, and sent to another practitioner only when you ask us to. The preparation sheet on this site is a case in point: you can type into it and print it, and what you type stays in your own browser. It is never sent to us. Nothing on that page is stored anywhere.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Two small things are remembered by your own browser, on your own device, and are never sent to us: whether you chose the light or dark colour theme, and whether you have already dismissed the analytics notice.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits. If you would rather it did not, most browsers can block them, and browser extensions that turn analytics off work normally here.
Other companies
Counts page views so we can see which pages are read. We do not use it for advertising and we have not connected it to any advertising product.
Serves this website and checks the contact form for automated abuse. Requests to the site pass through Cloudflare, which means it sees the internet address they come from.
Carries your message from the form to our inbox, in the same way any email to us would arrive.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] or call (305) 797-7603 and ask. We will tell you what we have and remove it, unless we are required to keep a record of it.
We keep what you send through the form for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a sensible record of our correspondence. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing.
